A dictionary containing the default actions for handling blank pages. If the raster output method supports it, the raster handler may receive a call allowing it to modify the action specified here. The BlankPages dictionary contains keys indicating the reason that the page was blank, and values indicating the default action to take. The keys and their default actions are:

/Separations

All separations of the page were omitted using separation omission (default action /Remove ). The action may not be modified to /Output in this case.

/Default

The page was detected as blank for any other reason (e.g., there is no content). The default action is /Output .

The actions available are:

/Remove

Entirely remove the blank page from the job. No output will be performed; the page number in the job's sequence will not be incremented.

/Count

Count the blank page in the job sequence. The page will not be send through the output, but the page number in the job's sequence will be incremented, leaving a gap.

/Output

Send the blank page through the RIP's normal output mechanism, and count it in the job's sequence if output is successful.
