Building the test application

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; and to Harlequin Core but not Harlequin MultiRIP.

If you are using an LDK-secured build of HHR and integrating it into your system in a very simple way, you may choose to use clrip.exe exactly as supplied by GGS. Mostly, you will want to rebuild the test application with your modifications and additions.

If you are using an LE-secured build of HHR you must not ship clrip.exe as it is, but must use the supplied handshake code to ensure an adequate level of copy protection for the RIP.

Check Release Notes (Harlequin Core) for the version of Harlequin Core that you are developing with for information on the required and recommended operating system and compiler versions.
