Can I serve VM and non-VM licenses on the same machine?

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP.

An LDK Server running in a VM needs a VM lock, while an LDK Server running on a bare-metal OS is better with a soft lock (because that’s re-hostable). In either case, a RIP accessing the LDK Server remotely may be running in a VM or on a bare-metal OS; that does not affect which license type is required.
