CMM custom color spaces

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP.

The RIP has an extension to use CMM custom color spaces using a C language interface to customer written code. The uses for CMM custom color spaces include conversions that are difficult to achieve in ICC profiles or other standard color spaces, and interfacing with color management hardware, and so on. CMM custom color spaces may be used in the /DeviceCMYK, /DeviceRGB, and /DeviceRGB keys of setinterceptcolorspace, and in the InputColorSpace key of setreproduction. This subject is described fully in Alternate CMMs: CMM custom color spaces.
