Error 400—incompatible enforcement type

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP.

If the Sentinel Runtime Environment is not installed and you try to activate a RIP, the following message appears:

Activation failed (400)
Could not generate the license because: enforcement type is incompatible

The activation failure error 400 should not occur when using the Global Graphics installer, as the correct run-time environment is installed.
