Error 400—Invalid License Type

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP.

If you have a product key for a new license and attempt to use it as a protection key update for an existing protection key, the following error appears:

Activation failed (400)
Invalid License Type

The LDK Toolʹs default screen (if you already have a RIP protection key) is Add option to an existing RIP license for this computer. Therefore, if you are adding a new license, you must click More..., followed by New License and proceed from there.
