How do I buy dongles for use with LDK?

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP.

You can buy unprogrammed Sentinel HL dongles for use with LDK from Global Graphics.

Alternatively, if you prefer, you can negotiate directly with Thales. Global Graphics provides authorization to Thales on demand for you to buy dongles directly from them that work with Global Graphics security. If you do this, you may also be able to choose the HL variant, dongle color, and even have your own logo printed or engraved on each one. You would negotiate the cost and options with Thales directly.

Global Graphics’ use of LDK with Harlequin requires the use of one of the "Net" variants of HL dongles. These are typically available as Net10, Net50, and Net250. The number sets the limit for the number of RIPs that the license encoded into the dongle can enable (the concurrency of the license). Thus a Net10 dongle cannot be used to carry a license for more than 10 RIPs (see Can I run multiple RIPs from a single license?). For most HHR OEMs, the Net10 dongle would be the most obvious choice.

Harlequin LDK licenses cannot be programmed into dongles using a vendor code other than Global Graphics’; they do not work with HL variants other than the Net versions.
