HqnContour Configuration

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP

Two forms of configuration are supported. Up to Harlequin v13.0r1 the root of the configuration included the ContourNames key. This form is still supported from v13.1 for PostScript configs, but the newer form is recommended. Only the new form is supported for JSON configurations; it was created to enable much more robust schema validation of contour configurations. For details of the old form see the Harlequin v13.0r1Extensions Manual .

Note: All properties described as “names” in the following must be delivered as strings in a JSON configuration.

The configuration is a PostScript dictionary or JSON object containing the following keys:

Outputs

(Array, Required) Each item in the array specifies one output from the contour export. See HqnContour Outputs for details.

IgnoreExtraKeys

(Boolean, Optional) If true , any unrecognized properties in the configuration are ignored; if false , they are reported. The default is false if asserts have been turned on (see The HqnAssert procset ), or true otherwise.
