MinShadingSize is a real number limiting the minimum size of a feature in a shfill .

It is useful for all shfills and units are default user space.

The PostScript setsmoothness/currentsmoothness and PDF /SM gstate parameters set the desired color accuracy. How this is achieved depends very much on the output device; there is no best method for all output devices.

The MinShadingSize user parameter now controls the minimum area across which a smooth transition will be attempted.

This parameter has a minimum effective bound of the device resolution. With higher values of MinShadingSize , blends can be made faster though they will not be as detailed and will not be as accurate at representing non-linear functions.

Default: 1.0
