Overprinting user parameters and operators
This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP.
This section list the overprint related user parameters.
Overprinting user parameters
OverprintProcess
Controls non-zero overprinting of DeviceCMYK by acting as a default for the overprint mode
graphics state attribute. See OverprintProcess (user param).
OverprintBlack
Controls the special overprinting of pure black objects. See OverprintBlack (user param).
OverprintICCBased
Treats CMYK ICCBased
color spaces as DeviceCMYK
for the purpose of non-zero overprinting in some useful cases. See OverprintICCBased (user param).
OverprintGray
Controls non-zero overprinting of DeviceGray of non-image objects. See OverprintGray (user param).
OverprintGrayImages
Controls non-zero overprinting of DeviceGray of image objects. See OverprintGrayImages (user param).
OverprintWhite
Controls how white vector and text objects (not images or shadings) overprint. See OverprintWhite (user param).
IgnoreOverprintmode
The IgnoreOverprintmode
user parameter ignores all settings of OPM
(PDF) and the setoverprintmode
operator (PostScript). See IgnoreOverprintMode (user param).
Overprinting system parameters
Overprint
When false, disables all overprinting. See Overprint (system param).
