Profiles

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; and to Harlequin MultiRIP but not Harlequin Core

Harlequin MultiRIP ColorPro uses profiles to generate color rendering dictionaries. Profiles also pro‐ vide default calibrations. Their names appear in various RIP dialogs. They vary significantly by device type, and are collected in the Profiles directory in the plugin hierarchy.

The structure of these files is not documented here. Files called Linear in these directories provide for default calibrations when ColorPro is not enabled. It may be possible to provide details of how to create such a file on request. In general, however, the only way to create a new profile at present is to do so indirectly, via the Install ICC (formerly Import ICC) dialog.
