Scalable RIP Prerequisites

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; and to Harlequin Core but not Harlequin MultiRIP

• You need HHR (v12.1r1 or later) installed on your machine.
• You need a Scalable RIP license and a RIP license for each farm RIP you intend to launch. For example, if you want to use eight farm RIPs, you will need eight RIP licenses and one Scalable RIP license.
• While not necessary, the Scalable RIP will only be beneficial on a multi-core machine; it works by instantiating multiple RIP processes in the background.
