Scaling (page device)
This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP
Param | Val | ExType | Vers | Use? | HPS | Ref |
x | H | Y | All |
An array of two scale factors, for the x and y directions (relative to the original page) by which the whole page is scaled. This is like applying a scaling matrix to the coordinate system, but also changes the dimensions of the page.
Note:
The use of Scaling
affects any attempt by the PostScript code in the job to discover the resolution of the output device using the dtransform
or idtransform
operators. Also, the effect on some pixel-based thresholds, such as the HintedFonts
system parameter, may mean that details of the output can change in small ways when scaled.
Default: [1 1]
.
