Security software

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP.

In rare cases, the LDK activation may fail because of interactions with security software. At present the only known problematic software is Lumension Endpoint Security (LES) before v4.5 SR1. If an activation fails, you should stop any anti-virus and other malware defense and retry the installation.

At times, the “Kollective SD ECDN” software prevents LDK run-time installation by blocking a port that is registered to Thales.
