For multi-line text fields, the TL (leading) parameter may need to be calculated. This can be given here as a percentage of the font height (which is then added to the height to give the leading value). For example, if TextFieldFontLeading is given a value of 0.08, the gap between successive lines of text is about 8% of the font’s height. If the default appearance string (/DA ) provides a TL, this parameter is ignored. This parameter is only acted upon if appearance streams are being reconstructed. This parameter resides in the sub-dictionary named by the AcroFormParams parameter.
