(v13) Barcode coordinate system

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP

Barcodes are drawn using the current transformation system (CTM) current at the time the barcode operator is invoked. If they are drawn in an overlay over a page that will normally be the default user space, they are unrotated and unscaled. If they are drawn as part of the graphics within a PostScript stream specifying the page itself, then they may be rotated and scaled by the CTM.

This means that barcodes drawn within a complete page description will be scaled and rotated consistently with the rest of the page if it is, for example, imposed.
