(v13) CMM custom color conversions
This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP
Some alternate CMMs are capable of performing color conversions that are not specified by an ICC profile, but instead by proprietary color conversions. The RIP contains an extension to the PostScript language for the purpose of configuring these custom color conversions. It is a distinct color space identifier that informs the RIP that color data should be converted by the alternate CMM:
[ /CMM <colorspacename> <input-colorspace> <output-colorspace>
]
Where <colorspacename>
is a PostScript language string or name object that will have meaning to the alternate CMM, but will not otherwise be used by the RIP.
