(v13) Comment parsing
This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP.
PostScript-language files can contain comments (that is, lines that the interpreter is expected to ignore). Many applications use this facility to provide extra information about the job. This information is usually used in some way by a preprocessor. The Harlequin RIP can be made to execute the comments directly as PostScript-language procedures ("comment parsing").
