(v13) File mapping and localization

The mapping of PostScript language filenames to native platform filenames supports localization. Filenames can be expected to contain (potentially multibyte) non‐English characters; a side‐benefit of the change is that PostScript language filenames are case‐sensitive on the PC platforms, which some third‐party applications and fonts expect.

Converting a native filename to a matching PostScript language filename is now very easy to do using a “mapping escape” syntax. Also, this alteration is compatible with the conversion method recommended for existing RIPs on the PC, so a single method will work on all current and future PC RIPs.
