(v13) How to remove the Harlequin Core SDK Windows

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; and to Harlequin Core but not Harlequin MultiRIP.

The InstallAnywhere application provides the ability to uninstall the Harlequin Core SDK. Alternatively, you can use your system's Uninstall program option.

An InstallAnywhere uninstaller is provided here:

\Uninstall_Harlequin Core SDK X.XrX\Uninstall Harlequin Core SDK X.XrX.exe

To remove the SDK you can either select the uninstaller or use Windows' own Add or Remove programs option, which starts the InstallAnywhere uninstaller.

To uninstall the Harlequin Core SDK:

1. Double-click Uninstall Harlequin Core SDK X.XrX.exe to start the uninstaller (where X.XrX is the version).
2. Click Uninstall.
3. A “Removing ldk” dialog displays, which allows you to select the following options:
   
   Uninstall the RIP only (which leaves the LDK installed) or
   Continue (which uninstalls both the RIP and the LDK), and
   Cancel (which aborts the uninstall).
   
   
4. Make a selection to continue.
5. All the items removed are listed as they are removed, followed by the message: All items were successfully uninstalled.
6. In the Uninstall Complete window, click Done and reboot the machine.

The uninstall procedure does not remove files that were created after the installation.
