This parameter is used to shift transformation by 0.5 to use the color value at the center of the pixel and is overridden by using an image dictionary parameter.

The Harlequin RIP tracks rectangles and images in user space. If a rectangle or image is placed “close enough” or adjacent to the immediately preceding image or rectangle (in user space), the coordinates are adjusted to match.

The way that this adjustment (matrix rounding behavior) is calculated has changed in the RIP. Prior to this change a number of bad PDL constructs were identified and fixed. This parameter along with others (see below) can be used to turn on the previously used matrix rounding behavior when the RIP encounters PDL constructs with the same sort of problems:

This user parameter can be used in conjunction with: (v13) SnapImageEdges (user param) , (v13) SnapRectEdges (user param) and (v13) CleanImageMatrix (user param) .

Default: true .
