Controls the strength of testing when deciding if two objects from different separations should be merged together (recombined). It reflects the fact that rules for recombining objects are heuristics and therefore cannot be 100% correct. In practice, setting the user parameter to true will allow some objects to recombine when otherwise they would not, but also means that some objects which should not recombine (because they are not really parts of the same object) will potentially recombine incorrectly. It is a trade off between false negative matches and false positive matches.

Default: false .

Note: From Harlequin v14, the recombine feature will be deprecated.
