(v13) RetainedRasterCompressionLevel (user param)
This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP.
Param | Val | ExType | Vers | Use? | HPS | Ref |
U | r | H | 8.0r3 | Y | All |
The amount of effort the RIP puts into compressing retained raster bands with the Harlequin VariData feature is configurable via the RetainedRasterCompressionLevel
user param. It applies only when RetainedRasterCompressionName
is set to /Flate
, and
otherwise the level is ignored. The default value is 1
, which usually gives good compression for the minimum CPU usage zlib can manage. The range is 0
(no compression at all) to 9
(maximum effort in the compression stage).
Default: 1
