(v13) Retention of HPS screening benefits

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP

Both the quality and speed of the existing HPS in-RIP Screening must be preserved.

The requirement to mix cellular and non-cellular screening (above) implies the need to be able to mix third-party screening with HPS or HDS etc.

Such a mix must not entail a disproportionate performance penalty. A relatively fast third-party screening mechanism should be able to co-exist with HPS with little or no performance loss compared to the third-party screening alone.
