(v13) Setting up the page device

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; and to Harlequin Core but not Harlequin MultiRIP

The configuration device must also set up the current page device in a suitable way. The details of this may depend on the source of the job. The configuration device in this implementation uses the printer name chosen when sending the job to determine how to set up the current page device.

Setting up the current page device is discussed in more detail in section 6.1 of [RB3] (or section 4.11 of [RB2]) and also in the discussion of the page device and setpagedevice operator in the Extensions manual which also describes the Harlequin RIP extensions to the page device and other areas of the LanguageLevel 3 and Level 2 PostScript language.
