What do the lines printed on a Global Graphics HL dongle mean?
This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP.
Four lines of data are printed on an HL dongle supplied for use with the Harlequin RIP:
- The type of dongle, that is, Net10, Net50, or Net250. The number at the end shows the maximum number of RIPs that can be licensed using that dongle.
- A number that shows that the dongle uses Global Graphics’ vendor code.
- The letters SP followed by the number that is used as the dongle serial number if it is programmed as a SuperPro dongle.
- The number that is used as the dongle serial number if the dongle is used with LDK. This number matches the Protection Key ID when a license is activated against the dongle.
