Mako 7.5.1 Release Notes

Introduction

The public release of Mako 7.5.1 addresses a single support issue. The link below refers back to the support case, but will work only for the customer who reported it.

This release also includes an internal feature developed for Global Graphics’ SmartDFE. It is related to a precision scan conversion feature in Harlequin RIP, routinely used to improve font glyph rendering.

Issues addressed

MAKO-5142 MAKOSUP-11495 PCL5 to PDF conversion - Font is being substituted in some instance and subsequently shifted

An issue with font selection when converting the customer’s job caused vertical misalignment of text. Now fixed.
