Mako 7.5.2 Release Notes
Introduction
Mako 7.5.2 is a maintenance release that addresses a number of support issues. The links below refer back to the support case, but will work only for the customer who reported it.
Issues addressed
MAKO-5188 MAKOSUP-11513 Mako goes into infinite loop and consumes all system memory
A problem with caching patterns when loading a Type 3 font caused this problem. Now fixed.
MAKO-5187 MAKOSUP-11520 Error converting a PDF file to PDF
This issue was caused by unexpected indirect references in an array definition. Now fixed.
MAKO-5182 MAKOSUP-11522 Error obtaining page content and layout from PDF/X4 files #1
This issue was caused by a valid PDF with an unusual construction, specifically the use of a PDF reference object in an array where a number was expected. Now fixed.
MAKO-5183 MAKOSUP-11522 Error obtaining page content and layout from PDF/X4 files #2
This issue was caused by a font anomaly that was not being handled appropriately. Now fixed.
MAKO-5186 MAKOSUP-11526 Issue with customer PDF file
This issue was caused by a TrueType font with lots of problems, one of which Mako was unable to workaround. Now fixed.
MAKO-5197 MAKOSUP-11531 RIP Error
An error in the PDF (invalid nesting of marked content) was not successfully being worked around. Now fixed.
MAKO-5199 MAKOSUP-11532 When rendering a specific page, Mako will throw an exception
This issue was fixed by a change to Mako’s JPEG2000 image handling.
MAKO-5198 MAKOSUP-11538 Customer issue when converting PDF file to Postscript
This issue was fixed by improvements to the way IDEF
instructions in a TrueType font are handled.
