Caching

Targets

PrintFlat Create makes use of a target cache. This reduces the time required to produce subsequent calibrations by caching the targets, so that they can be re-used. The cache location can be found at:

C:\ProgramData\PrintFlatCreate\TargetCache

The default maximum size of the cache is 5GB. Once this limit has been reached, the oldest targets will be removed from the cache to ensure there is space for newly created targets.

This folder can be deleted manually to free up space on disk.

On upgrade to a newer version of PrintFlat Create, the old cache will be invalidated. A new empty cache will be used instead. The old cache will not be removed.
