Executing a PDF file

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; and to Harlequin Core but not Harlequin MultiRIP

PDF jobs are invoked using the pdfexec operator. The parameters to pdfexec are the file to be executed and a dictionary containing any options controlling its execution. This dictionary may be empty. Default values for the options not supplied, except where noted below, are set up using setpdfparams as described in Default PDF execution parameters . Note that because PDF objects may appear in an arbitrary order, the file being executed must be seekable. If it is not, the RIP will first copy it to a temporary local file.
