Linux-specific preparations

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP.

On Linux the various LDK utilities require libssl.so.6. You should check that this is installed. If it is not, you must install it before the LDK Tool or LDK Utility can be run. The required yum package is openssl098e.

If you installed the RIP with administrator privileges, the Global Graphics installer automatically installs the LDK run-time components. If, however, you installed it as “user”, it is not installed. See Linux for instructions on installing the LDK run-time.

If the LDK password dialog fails to appear during the SDK installation, running <HHRfolder>/ldk/utils/ldktool in a terminal window shows the additional libraries that need to be installed.
