The TransferFunction user parameter

A final method of applying an interpolation array is the TransferFunction user parameter. This method is applied in addition to all other methods of calibration. The purpose of this parameter is for making the adjustments that might be needed for grosser variations attributable to a particular output device, rather than the more minor day-to-day variations due to changes of film, and so on. One TransferFunction is used for all color channels.
