Connecting to Harlequin Direct (Smart Print Controller)


When Smart Print Controller (SPC) loads, the RIP Server (HarlequinDirect.exe) starts and SPC connects to it:

This doesn't happen immediately; please wait until the connection icon (at the top right of the window) is green.

If the connection icon turns red, click the connection icon and choose Restart RIP Servers to see if this clears the issue.


If your connection is still not green, there may be useful information in the server log; select View RIP Server Log... from the same dropdown menu.

Please contact your Global Graphics Representative if you are unable to achieve a green connected status.
