Total Area Coverage

The purpose of the total area coverage (TAC) is to define a TAC for the printer to use.

For example, if you print something out and find there is too much ink being applied to the substrate then you can lower the TAC and reduce the amount of ink being used.

On the TAC pane you will be presented with a drop down, where you can select from a range of TAC Profiles. You can also print out a TAC chart with the desired TAC applied to it. Repeat the process if the TAC does not meet your requirements with a higher or lower TAC.
