Overview

Smart Calibrator is a part of the SmartDFE application suite.

End users can use Smart Calibrator to:

  1. Create a PrintFlat calibration.
  2. Return their press to a reference (or "golden") state, set by the OEM using Smart Media Manager (SMM).
  3. Support ICC in an SMD (Smart Media Description file):
    1. Print an ICC characterization target in calibration mode.
    2. Select an ICC profile to embed in the SMD file.
