Linux

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP.

We recommend that you check that the LDK daemons are running on Linux using:

sudo /etc/init.d/aksusbd status

which should report:

AKSUSB daemon is running!

WINEHASP daemon is running!

HASPLM daemon is running!

If they are not started, start them using:

sudo /etc/init.d/aksusbd start

You can stop them using:

sudo /etc/init.d/aksusbd stop

The Admin Control Center (ACC) is only available when the Linux daemon is running.

To install the LDK run-time on Linux open a terminal window, make yourself superuser and go to:

<HHR install path>/ldk

This is usually:

/usr/local/bin/<HHR_13xrx_xxx>/ldk

or:

/u/<name>/<HHR_13xrx_xxx>/ldk
  1. Copy /ldk/haspvlib_109670.so to /var/hasplm/haspvlib_109670.so.
  2. Use the following to install the runtime:

rpm -i aksusbd-n.n-n.i386.rpm

(replace the n characters to match the version present).

A message appears, stating that the runtime is installed or a package is already installed.

GGSL recommends using the latest LDK runtimes, which are available on the GGSL ftp site.
