(v13) OPI and DCS

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP.

This chapter describes a common use of PostScript-language comments, to specify the location of higher-resolution versions of images. The Harlequin RIP supports the following schemes in wide use:

• OPI, as described in (v13) OPI (Open Press Interface) 
• DCS, as described in (v13) DCS (Desktop color separation) 
• (v13) PDF reference XObjects
