(v13) Recombine and the Preseparation key

This page applies to Harlequin v13.1r0 and later; both Harlequin Core and Harlequin MultiRIP.

From Harlequin Core v14, the recombine feature is removed.

The Preseparation key of setpagedevice is used to turn on the recombine feature. It accepts two values, either a null (the default) or an empty dictionary to disable or enable recombine respectively.

Previously the Preseparation setpagedevice key was also used to set color management when recombining, but this has been deprecated in favor of the standard usage of setinterceptcolorspace.
