Support Pane

This pane provides access to log messages for the session within the application, as well as offering three buttons at the bottom:

Open Log File Folder

Opens an Explorer window at the folder containing Smart Print Controller (SPC) logs.

The logs are named to show the year, month, day, and time (in that order) of their creation. (For example, 230322_093230_Log.txt was created on 22nd March 2023 at 9:32:30am.)

Create Support Package

This option automatically captures all log files, configuration files, and saves the current settings to a .spc file, combining them into a single .zip file that can be used to aid support issues.

The .spc file saved will represent the currently applied server settings. If you have pending changes that require an Apply to take effect, they are not guaranteed to be reflected in the Support Package produced.


This reports the version number of SPC and the RIP Server.

RIP Server information is only available when there is an active connection and is taken from the first RIP Server if multiple are connected.
